Apply to Moraga Art Gallery

Thank you for your interest in joining the Moraga Art Gallery (MAG). We are a cooperative gallery and have shown local artist’s work in the Rheem Center since 2001.

Moraga Art Gallery functions under the auspices of Lamorinda Arts Alliance (LAA). All gallery members must be LAA members and hold a current California Seller’s Permit.

We offer five exhibits each year in which all members participate. To kick-off each exhibit, we send e-mail announcements to our patrons, distribute postcards to area businesses, and hold a reception during which patrons can meet the artists and enjoy food and drink in the midst of beautiful works of art.

As a cooperative, MAG relies on the contribution of time, effort and knowledge by all its members. For this reason, members are obliged to work shifts in the gallery, as well as take an active role in the running of the gallery. It is also important that members attend general membership meetings, held five times annually.

All art shown in our gallery must be approved by the jury committee. Potential members should submit 4-5 pieces for review.
