Jacqueline Proulx

Jacqueline Proulx is a ceramist who recently moved to our area and has now joined the Gallery.  She has been living in California for about 6 years now, and has been doing ceramics for about 20 years before that, in Quebec.  She enjoys experimenting new venues, and does sculpture, gas reduction, raku, saggar firing, pit fire, as well as electric mid-fire.    Her most recent production is very colorful, and essentially functional.  She aims in her work at making objects of beauty for everyday living.  More can be seen on her web site:  www.clayandfire.org
